Lust, Caution

Lust, Caution is the saddest film I have ever seen. I would have sobbed afterwards if I weren’t with company.

It’s also one of the hottest films I’ve ever seen, thanks to Tony Leung my love so sweet!

And out of all of Ang Lee’s films, this is probably my favorite, though he still doesn’t make it to my list of favorite directors. I think I prefer my directors (and their films) to believe in happy endings.

Aww. It’s okay, sometimes we don’t get good films AT ALL, either. On the plus side, we get all blockbusters a day before the worldwide screening date, because they’re trying to beat the movie pirates.
